But makes me a little sad that he's going so mainstream.

Feels like Flight of the Conchords really won't see a third season.

Proof that you don't need 3D
to create stunning visuals.
Even with all that technological gee whiz,
James Cameron's "Avatar"
character design comes nowhere close
to capturing the imagination
the way Miyazaki does.

The new colour-organised bowl system rocks!

Before I start putting a design together,
I normally have to spend at least
half an hour picking out the colours I want
from the multicoloured bucket.

No more of that nonsense.

Today's POW! design is inspired by Kick-Ass.
Gotta love the tagline:

Wanted to turn it into a pendant
but I couldn't figure out how to make it smaller.
Right now it's as big as my face.

When I was done,
I picked out the yellow beads
and I thought it looked even better.

Reminds me of those old
Batman cartoons from the 60s.
SOCK! POW! ZOK!

Laborious Day.

Yesterday was Labour Day
and also Saturday
as well as Food Poisoning Day 2.

Between the bed and the toilet bowl,
I couldn't think about barfing beads.

OJM decided he'd come over
and organise my beads for me.
He's the best!

Now everything's lovely and colour-coordinated.
Or as he would put it, Everything's Neat and Organised -__-

Our favourite is the green bead bowl
coz it looks like a bowl of spring onions
and gives one a curiously strong desire
to eat Chicken Rice.

shutting your eyes for just a bit
then waking up in the middle of an action scene
and realising you didn't miss anything.
