How to Fill A Heartless Heart.

 Cindy asked me for a heart

 and I made her a heartless one.
 
Oops.
  
So how do you 
fill a heartless heart? 

Words.

Seem a bit empty.

   

Flowers.

Are dead to the heartless.

  

Money.

Fails to fill.

Other hearts.

Less heartless.

But there's still a gap.

  
 

A good cry.

Sometimes that's all a heart needs

to become whole again.

Dead Breath.

Deadlines.

Dead blog.

Dead tired.

Dead bunny, anyone?

You've Got Mail.

Sending my first Bead Breath parcels last week

allowed me to reacquaint myself

with the beauty of snail mail.

Sealing the envelope - feels so once and for all.

Sticking the stamps on - praying they won't fall off.

Shoving the parcel into the post box -
there, you've lost all control.

And then there's the waiting.

There's something almost romantic about the whole thing.

(Is that why housewives have affairs with the mailman?)

Suddenly e-mails seem really boring.

Is it any wonder how

the faster things get

the faster time flies?

If I've learnt anything from all this,

it's if we all slowed down just a little,

we just might live longer.

  

Snap Happy.

I'm mad in love with polaroid cameras
but could never have one because the film
was too expensive.
 
Glad to see old-school cameras making a comeback!
Hopefully, I'll get my grubby hands on an instant cam soon.

Toy Story 3 in 5...

Rex sneaks a snack.

(Ok so it's a Rex Fail.
But I like how childish it looks.)

It's fun to guess what each toy's
preferred movie snack would be.
In this case, it's the other theatre patrons.

As much as I can't wait to watch Toy Story 3,
I'm really looking forward to seeing the new short.
Apparently it's called "Day and Night".

Alice in Lalaland.

I hate wearing watches
so I tend to lose track of time.

But with this baby,
time stops for me!

Inspired by Alice in Wonderland.

(No cow lick in this design,
the chain slips right through the gap!)

Getting the Bead Rolling.

The ones that got me off my butt

and hooked on experimenting with beads again.

My Pac-Man was missing a limb for forever.
Then he lost another because I kept
crashing into furniture.

But it really was when Kim asked me to fix her
ribbon pendant that I thought about
doing some new designs again.

So thanks for obliterating the ribbon, K!

The updated design is slightly different,
and hopefully stronger.

Does anyone know how to
increase the strength of
