Dead Breath.

Deadlines.

Dead blog.

Dead tired.

Dead bunny, anyone?

Inspired by this YouTube video
Kat sent me last week.
Awakens violent tendencies
to squeeze the eyeballs outta those fur balls.

Scream a bloodthirsty
Bye-bye Bunny!!!!!!

You've Got Mail.

allowed me to reacquaint myself
with the beauty of snail mail.

Sealing the envelope - feels so once and for all.
Sticking the stamps on - praying they won't fall off.
Shoving the parcel into the post box -
there, you've lost all control.

And then there's the waiting.

There's something almost romantic about the whole thing.
(Is that why housewives have affairs with the mailman?)

Suddenly e-mails seem really boring.

Is it any wonder how
the faster time flies?

If I've learnt anything from all this,
it's if we all slowed down just a little,
we just might live longer.

Pass The Time, Please.

Now I wonder if this Pegboard Game
can speed it up a little:

How many words in the word POST?

Waiting for my parcels to reach Aneesah and Taka
is like waiting for the loading bar to reach 100%.
And you suspect the connection's hung.
But you don't dare refresh the page,
because it's already at 81%.

I Sent You A Stinker.

Dear Aneesah and Taka,
Finally, some breathing space!
Sorry for the delay in the post department.
It's been hard to find time to work on Bead Breath.

I finally got around to packing Ele and Octopaul.
Here they are, snug as bugs.

I was really paranoid they'd get destroyed in the mail
so I put them in hard plastic boxes,
and padded the insides with
bubble wrap, foam, and tissue.

Yes, the ribbons serve a functional purpose too.
They keep the boxes shut tight!

I'm just really worried I'll end up sending Ele to Austria
and Octopaul to Canterbury instead!
Fingers crossed I got it right.
I only checked about 1,679 times.

See Ya Later, Ele!
Auf Wiedersehen, Paul!

Snap Happy.

I'm mad in love with polaroid cameras
but could never have one because the film
was too expensive.

Glad to see old-school cameras making a comeback!
Hopefully, I'll get my grubby hands on an instant cam soon.

Have included a tiny hole in this design
so you can peep through the viewfinder!

This design is based on the lovely Holga.
Entirely plastic. And stunning in red.

Also check out the awesome 3D version!

Yeah my Holga's 3D too.
Well the lens is anyway, hehe.

Have a Holga!
Say
Snap!
Oh crap!
I blinked!

What other lomography-inspired cameras
would you like to see?
